Apologies for the vagueness of my previous post - my intention to limit details ended up being far too vague in retrospect. I was eventually diagnosed with hypertension, which may be temporary, and was released the next day. Following up next week with a primary care provider, someone we used to call a GP.
Sorry for any unnecessary alarm. We were certainly freaked out here last week, but it wasn’t my intention to create any alarm elsewhere.
Whew...please take good care of you. Thanks for the hospital tips. A few weeks ago when I was in the hospital for a biopsy, I said to the two attending nurses, "Ladies, I want to thank you for your incredible ability to ask me questions of no consequence to keep me talking as a distraction to what's going on." They looked at each other, then looked at me and said, "Wait. What? Are we doing that???" (Yep, they were.)
Thanks for the update. Take care of yourself.
